If you have processed and verified the modified plan and estimate for a housing unit, but you want to get additional feedback before sending the estimate and plan to your buyer, you can request the opinion of a third party, such as a technical director, an architect, a control office, etc. (anyone with an account having a 'Validator' role).
To do this, go to the "Validations" tab in your customizations management interface, select the individuals you want to request validation from, and then click on the "Request Validation" button.
Be sure to save your latest modifications before making your validation request.
Once the request is made:
- Your validators are notified via email about your request (to learn more about what happens on the validator's side, click here).
- The status of the housing unit automatically changes to "Reviewing". You will not have control over the unit until your validators respond.
- When all validators have approved a plan or if a validator has rejected a modification request, you will be notified via email. If a validator has left you a comment, you can see it by going back to the Edit button and then to the "Validations" tab.
